TelePacific Communications Acquires Orange County Internet Xchange

TelePacific Communications, a provider of integrated voice and data telecommunications services in California and Nevada, announced it has completed the acquisition of Orange County Internet Xchange, a dedicated provider of carrier class colocation services.

According to a release, OCiX operates a 10,000 square-foot SAS 70 Type II certified facility located in Santa Ana, Calif.
"Network reliability and security remain paramount concerns to our customers," said Dick Jalkut, President and CEO of TelePacific. "

The legacy OCiX data center allows us to deliver the redundant facilities that are in high demand by banks, hospitals and other businesses in highly regulated industries."

TelePacific extended employment offers to OCiX employees at the time of the acquisition close and is fortunate to have them continue to support legacy customers.

TelePacific is a privately-held company and the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TelePacific Communications is a telecommunications carrier.
