Fed: Building sector continues to grow strongly in Sept quarter

CANBERRA, Jan 17 AAP - The boom in the building sector continued in the September quarter,new figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) showed today.

Seasonally adjusted, new residential building work grew 12.2 per cent in the quarterto $4.3 billion, while the total value of all work grew 7.7 per cent to $8.3 billion.
