Sturtevant upgrades Columbia packaging.(Supplier News)

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Not only is the new packaging on F.C. Sturtevant Co.'s 6-ounce Columbia Antiseptic Powder tamper-resistant, but it also gives the company the ability to provide more information to consumers.

The packaging will be extended to its 1-ounce and 14-ounce offerings during the first quarter of 2005. What's more, next year the information will be provided in four languages--French, Spanish, English and Korean--to expand the product's appeal.

The company chose the Korean language over Japanese and Chinese for the product because research revealed that Koreans are willing to pay more for a product that they perceive is a better item, notes …
