WASHINGTON -- The 14 witnesses whom the White House will call in President Clinton's defense have something in common with those who have already testified in the Judiciary Committee's impeachment inquiry: no first-hand knowledge of the facts involving the intimate relationship between Clinton and former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
