Qld: Honour for Barnes and Wilson

BRISBANE, April 13 AAP - Rock veterans Jimmy Barnes and Ross Wilson will add their
names to a walk of fame on the Sunshine Coast next week.

Barnes and Wilson will be honoured for their contribution to rock and roll with plaques
added to Caloundra's Walk of Stars on Monday.

The Walk of Stars is the brainchild of sixties rocker Tony Worsley, who has set up
the rock theme restaurant Velvet Waters - named after his 1965 gold-selling record.

Parts of Bulcock Street will be closed off for a day of festivities and a ceremony
featuring Barnes and Wilson will start at 6pm (AEST).
